If You Build It.
The last few years in Hopewell have seen some exciting times, with doors opening for Nomad pizza, the Peasant Grill, and Le Chardon Tea Room to name a few. But this little town is just getting started. By the sound of what’s coming next, people will be heading to the boro in droves.
How about the fact that Amy Karyn Home is relocating her flagship store from Palmer Square to Broad Street Hopewell on March 1? (bye bye Sun Bank). What a perfect compliment to our bundle of antique stores. A massive sale starts this Thursday Jan 20th-Feb 20th on their entire inventory of furnishings with discounts ranging from 20-60%. And yes, the discounts may even trickle down to her collection of hand printed fabrics. You’ll just have to stop in and see.
Next up, Thai is on the way, the Whistle Stop restaurant behind Boro Bean is looking good and the Double Brook Farm store is making strides. Plus there’s a rumble out there about an ice cream shop. Truth.
Hopewell is a little like the Little Engine that Could; I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. And the train going by toots its horn daily to remind us.
